Hello and welcome! It is so wonderful to have you gather around this table of friendship today. We are starting a new series called “Holy Spirit: The Third Person of the Trinity.” I’m glad you are here as we look to the Word of God to see what it teaches about how Holy Spirit improves your life. But first, let’s talk about the basics of what we know about
Come, let’s sit together at the table as we talk about treasures. There are many kinds of treasures, such as a treasured collection of seashells, or, a collection of Royal Albert chinaware. Some of us have treasures with less financial value but full of sentimental value like ticket stubs from the first amusement park we ever went to with that special boy. We can think of other kinds of treasures that we value but have you ever wondered what the treasures in heaven are that Jesus mentioned in Matthew 6:19-21?
You are who He says you are. You don’t need to compare yourself to anyone else any longer. When you look in the mirror, smile back at yourself and remind yourself of Biblical truths such as “I am blessed in the heavenly places.” Stick around a bit as we discover who we are in Christ which makes us unique.
